The utmost of luxury, it's filled with long strands of 100% mulberry silk floss, evoking the memory of a gentle caress. This type of silk floss also significantly extends the lifespan of the duvet compared to those filled with short-strand mulberry silk or tussah silk. 

Our duvet was designed especially for those who tend to overheat or are sensitive to allergens. Silk is naturally hypoallergenic and thermoregulating. Lightweight and suitable for spring until fall, and winter, in well-heated bedrooms. We recommend using our silk duvet cover for your best sleep yet.

Two sizes are available: 2.2 pounds (1kg) is great for spring, summer and fall; 6.6 pounds (3kg) is great for winter. If you get both, there is a 10% discount (price showing is already discounted). Please note the weight mentioned above is the weight of the silk filling without the duvet shell.

Where can I find your size chart?

We have two types of products: ready-to-ship and custom.

Ready-to-ship products have their size charts in the images. Usually it's the last image, so please scroll to the end.

Custom products have "custom" in the product name and are made to order. For custom products, we make each item based on your measurements, so please read the product copy for measurement requests. You could also use our size charts for custom products, in which case please refer to the size chart image.

How fast do you ship?

We usually ship in 1-3 business days. That being said, we deal with a lot of wedding orders, PR orders and corporate gifting orders, so we understand the sense of urgency.

How do I take care of my silk?

Most of our items can be machine washed (put in a laundry mesh bag, wash on the delicate cycle, use gentle detergent and hang to dry), even though hand washing is recommended to maintain the lustre of silk. However, silk scarves are very delicate and can only be hand washed.

Where are you located? Can I pick up my order/go in to try something on?

We currently have two pickup locations. One in Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario; the other one in Markham, Ontario. We don't have storefronts, so these are pickup locations only.

To book a pickup, please email info@softstrokessilk.com. Products low in inventory may only be available in one of the locations, so let us know the product (item, size, colour, quantity) you are interested in when emailing.
