Care

Hand Wash
1. Soak the pillowcase in a container filled with mild soap and lukewarm water
2. Wash and rinse by gently squeezing the pillowcase under running water. Do not rub or wring the fabric
3. Hang to dry
4. Steam on the low heat setting after flipping the pillowcase inside out

Machine Wash
1. Place the pillowcase in a mesh laundry bag and wash on the gentle cycle and cold water setting
2. Hang to dry
3. Steam on the low heat setting after flipping the pillowcase inside out

  • Standard: 20 inches x 26 inches (51 cm x 66 cm)
  • Queen: 20 inches x 30 inches (51 cm x 76 cm)
  • King: 20 inches x 36 inches (51 cm x 91 cm)
  • Since our pillowcases are handmade, a size discrepancy of 1 inch (2.5 cm) can occur

Style
Envelope Closure

  • King: opening is at the edge of the pillowcase. Overlap = 5.5 inches (14 cm)
  • Queen: opening is at the edge of the pillowcase. Overlap = 5.1 inches (13 cm)

Traditional

  • Standard: opening is at the edge of the pillowcase. There is no overlap. This means the pillowcase looks like an open bag

Packaging

  • Option A: Black satin drawstring bag
  • Option B: No packaging to reduce our environmental footprint. We will carefully place your product in the mailer without extra packaging

    Amazing product and phenomenal customer service. One of the pillowcases l received had a small flaw. Ashley responded lightning fast and offered a replacement to be sent out right away and for a shipping label to be sent to me to return the old one.

    Love these silk pillowcases. The quality is good and the colours are pretty. Got 2 burgundy pillowcases and I love it. Really good and fast customer service too. Hope there will be more colours for these pillowcases in the future.

    Where can I find your size chart?

    We have two types of products: ready-to-ship and custom.

    Ready-to-ship products have their size charts in the images. Usually it's the last image, so please scroll to the end.

    Custom products have "custom" in the product name and are made to order. For custom products, we make each item based on your measurements, so please read the product copy for measurement requests. You could also use our size charts for custom products, in which case please refer to the size chart image.

    How fast do you ship?

    We usually ship in 1-3 business days. That being said, we deal with a lot of wedding orders, PR orders and corporate gifting orders, so we understand the sense of urgency.

    How do I take care of my silk?

    Most of our items can be machine washed (put in a laundry mesh bag, wash on the delicate cycle, use gentle detergent and hang to dry), even though hand washing is recommended to maintain the lustre of silk. However, silk scarves are very delicate and can only be hand washed.

    Where are you located? Can I pick up my order/go in to try something on?

    We currently have two pickup locations. One in Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario; the other one in Markham, Ontario. We don't have storefronts, so these are pickup locations only.

    To book a pickup, please email info@softstrokessilk.com. Products low in inventory may only be available in one of the locations, so let us know the product (item, size, colour, quantity) you are interested in when emailing.
